Gastronometro Social Media & Communication Specialist

Stellenbeschreibung

  • Developing and implementing an annual Gastronometro communication & social media strategy; generating new content ideas through annual planning.
  • Creating annual communication (social media content, video/photo shooting) plans and budgets.
  • Creating and managing the schedules in coordination with the Business Development Management and Culinary units.
  • Participating in corporate image and logo development projects and being able to execute these projects when necessary.
  • Coordinating with advertising agencies and media companies.
  • Reviewing and approving prepared press releases and preparing them independently when necessary, depending on the scope of the work.
  • Overseeing and managing content produced for websites and social media.
  • Ensuring active management of social media accounts.
  • Being able to take photos and videos; having knowledge of suppliers and the market when planning shoots and effectively coordinating and tracking the shoots.
  • Proficiency in using design tools like Canva for daily design tasks, including menu design, small print design tasks, etc.
  • Keeping up with new communication and marketing trends and opportunities.
  • Preparing periodic reports on corporate communication activities.
  • Working closely with the Corporate Communication and Marketing departments for developing and executing promotion and branding initiatives collaborating in alignment with Metro Türkiye’s communication & social media planning.

Qualifications

  • University Degree.
  • Design knowledge and a curious mindset towards new design trends and ideas.
  • Passion for food and gastronomy, with in-depth knowledge and a keen understanding of HORECA industry and culinary trends.
  • Possessing management skills.
  • Demonstrating planning and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, effective communication, time-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Being inclined towards collaboration and teamwork.
  • Being creative and visionary.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • For male candidates, having no military obligations.

Additional Information

The Gastronometro working model is a full-time office position, Monday to Friday.
