• Managing the source and cost of warehouse operations, including multiple temperature regime / cold chain warehouses (cold, frozen, cool, fish, and dry), based on the yearly forecast.
• Conducting studies towards the resource and cost targets of warehouse operations according to annual revenue development estimates.
• Making root cause analysis of unfulfilled products and following up necessary action,
• Ensuring that the warehouse operations process’ are in line with the Metro Turkey service level.
• Optimizing the flow type structure for dry and non-food products.
• Developing cooperation frameworks with suppliers; establish standards related to logistics.
• Ensuring continuous development of supply chain applications in stores.
• Ensuring effective and efficient flow in direct / indirect shipments and increase indirect shipment rates and ensuring continuous development of processes, structures and IT infrastructure in these shipments.
• Managing and monitor monthly KPIs of logistics service providers and make reconciliations.
• Managing the logistics service provider (LSP), ensuring coordination with the LSP, defining cooperation standards with units such as category management, operations, and LSP, and organizing regular coordination meetings with the LSP.
• Having connections with global operations, analyzing the suitability of best practices for Metro Turkey and implementing suitable projects.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration and Logistics Management.
• Minimum 7 years experience in warehouse and logistics operations and team management.
• Knowledge in supply chain and logistic management.
• Having a store and customer service-oriented understanding.
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written).
• Excellent knowledge of WMS and Microsoft Office Programs.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Organizational and planning skills.
• Able to work dynamically and systematically.
• Completed military service for male candidates.
• No obstacle to travel.
