• Participate in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of in-house business applications.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and scalable software solutions.

• Develop and enhance software for both internal and external use.

• Ensure software quality through proper coding, testing, and debugging practices.

• Provide maintenance, support, and improvements for existing applications.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve current systems.

• Communicate effectively with teammates, business users, and managers during all phases of development.

• Ensure that all development activities comply with the company’s global software architecture, governance frameworks, and security standards, maintaining full alignment with international IT strategies.

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience, including participation in at least one full software development lifecycle.

• Strong experience in application development with C# .NET, including ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, RESTful services, and Microservice architecture.

• Experience with front-end technologies such as React JSX, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JQuery.

• Experience in developing applications using Oracle or MS SQL Server databases.

• Preferably familiar with Agile and DevOps practices, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

• Experience in cloud platforms is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Good command of English.

METRO's Head Office follows a hybrid working model! We work remotely on Fridays, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere. Plus, each year, you can choose two additional weeks to work remotely on your own terms!
