Job Description

Our Senior Merchandiser is responsible for sourcing projects and collaborate with our global sales divisions worldwide.

  • Responsible for new sourcing, product development, price negotiation and order fulfilment of selected product range for Household products.
  • Support assortment management and product range development.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, production and delivery issues.
  • Actively communicate with customers to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Analyze market and import share data to stay updated with business trends.
  • Coordinate with client regarding technology capabilities and roadmaps for new product development.
  • Evaluate suppliers and expand the supplier database for Household products.
  • Prepare and lead buying and sourcing trips.
  • Supervise, train and engage the team to carry out daily operations

Experience, knowledge and skills required:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management / International Business or equivalent discipline.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing and assortment building with focus on European market.
  • Strong product knowledge in Household product industry including material characteristics and production processes.
  • Experience in sizable multi-national buying office or manufacturing company will be a definite advantage.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Additional Information

Head Office Working Model is Hybrid in METRO, We're working remotely on Mondays and Fridays. You can work from anywhere on these days!
